Marius Stan is an American actor best known for his role as Bogdan, the car wash owner, in the Emmy Award winning TV series Breaking Bad. As the abrasive boss who helps push Walter White toward his fateful transformation, Stan shared the screen with Bryan Cranston and Anna Gunn in a performance that has since become part of television history. Working under the direction of Vince Gilligan, Michelle MacLaren, David Slade and Michael Slovis, he portrayed Bogdan as a good man who struggles in difficult situations and eventually makes Walter’s already fragile pride explode.
Stan also appeared in the Starz television series Crash as Imran, a deli shop owner whose confrontation with a group of teenagers moves from explosive anger to unexpected warmth in a matter of moments – demonstrating Stan’s ability to balance intensity with humanity.
His first leading role came in the short romantic comedy Guadalupe’s Rose, where he played Allen, a reserved scientist whose carefully ordered world is disrupted by a spirited painter. The role revealed his natural affinity for character-driven storytelling and emotional transformation.
