Dr. Marius Stan is a scientific consultant based in Chicago. He holds a B.S. in Physics and a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Until 2021, he led Intelligent Materials Design in the Applied Materials Division at Argonne National Laboratory and was a Senior Fellow at both the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. Before that, he was a Senior Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Marius has published extensively in scientific journals and books and is currently writing a book on human and artificial intelligence.
His literary work—short stories, poetry, and essays—has appeared in both Romanian and English. He is presently working on a novel and a second collection of short stories.
Marius is also known to a wider audience for his role as Bogdan in the television series Breaking Bad.
